Looks awesome for a fakey camera! The price is nice.

Many of the "fake security cameras" on the market look very dated and easy to spot out from any experienced intruder. This design is great- looks very much up-to-date with the latest cameras on the market. We've installed a few of these around the house for extra comfort. I'd recommend purchasing a few. What could it hurt?

I don't know if this would deter a professional burglar or not, but it's pretty realistic looking to me. I'm sure that if someone was scoping out your house from a nearby yard, this might look very real and be enough to make them look for another target. I would think that for the price, it's worth a try. I also have a real camera on my house and honestly, I'm not sure that except for the missing power line (the real one has a cord you can see, but hey, that could be fake too!) they look very much different.
