I was always really hesitant to get these door locks on Amazon but this is made by Sabre which is known for all types of personal security like pepper spray. I travel a lot and this was really easy to use. You can put it on/off with one hand. It’s got weight to it too so it doesn’t feel cheap. I was tugging at the door when trying it out and it really works. Must have for any traveling females

If you're ever worried that someone else may have a key to your door, whether it's a hotel or AirBnB, this security device is perfect for you. It fits into the existing door catch and prevents the door from being opened. It is easy to install and uninstall. I'm guessing that it wouldn't prevent someone from kicking in the entire door jamb, but would keep the door shut if someone had a key. On the house that I'm trying it out, the part that slides into the door catch is a little larger than the opening. It still works, but makes me think there could be a situation where it might not fit. Overall a very good investment for your travels. Keep in mind it will only work on door that swing INTO the house and that most houses have more than 1 exterior door, so you may need multiples.

This portable door lock from Sabre is very easy to use. It should fit on most doors unless the gap is unusually tight. It will take two hands to use since you have to hold the lock with one hand and gently close your door with the other. Then you push the button and slide it into place. You can't open the door with this in place. It's small enough to travel with and use in hotels, Airbnb, etc. It even comes with a small black velour travel bag. This lock offers a lot of security and peace of mind and is surprisingly affordable. Well done.
